Two banks operating Apapa were, on Wednesday set ablazed after a policeman attached to Diamond Bank on Burma Road allegedly shot dead some trailer drivers. The mob also set a Sterling Bank branch on Wharf Road ablaze. It was gathered that the trailer drivers had indiscriminately parked in front of the bank. Angered by the killing and the bank’s refusal to hand over the policeman to them, the driver’s colleagues moved to set the bank ablaze, destroying properties and other valuables. . Jagaban’s son, Seyi and his lovely wife, Layal welcomed their baby girl, Amira Titilayo Noella Rose Simisola Ashabi Tinubu. A 12-year-old Mississippi girl literally had a hand in her baby brother’s birth when she helped the doctor deliver him. Jacee Dellapena was trying to watch her brother be born  on Tuesday  when she started crying because she thought she’d miss the birth because she was too short, WBLT reports. That’s when the doctor asked Jacee’s mother, Dede Carraway, if she’d allow the girl to help deliver the baby. “I actually, like delivered him, like, he let me actually push down and pull the baby out….I was like, ‘Wow, like I’ve played fake doctor before, but this is, like, the real thing, this is is the real deal.’ I was really nervous,” Jacee told the station. In the end, Dellpena was able to help deliver 7-pound, 6-ounce Cayson Carraway. Two suspected thieves were beaten and burnt to death in another brutal jungle justice. They were caught stealing in a village in Imo State  in the early hours of Sunday, 4th June. According to one of the villagers, Amaefule Emmanuel who shared the photos on Facebook, he said; “Out of anger this young men was killed by villages because of what is happening in our community, we all knows that country is hard but we should not involve in this kind of act called criminal it can damage your image, anyway the wages of sin is dt…God have mercy on them.”

A Professor of Entomology at the University of Ilorin, Adeolu Ande, has decried killing mosquitoes, saying the insects are friends to humans that deserved to be properly managed.
